We will begin our tour from Volos. You will visit the archaeological sites of Sesklo and Dimini which are two of the oldest Neolithic villages ever found in Europe. A visit to the archeological museum of Volos is also necessary as it is also important to go around the city, hike in Goritsa hill and enjoy the view. After a long day going swimming seems like a great idea. Lunch and dinner can be in places where food is outstanding. After all, we live in Volos!
Pelion Mountain is known all over Greece for combining the natural beauty of a forest with wonderful beaches to swim in. In addition to that, some of the most traditional and authentic greek villages can be found here. This day involves hiking, swimming, and sightseeing. We will see the great platanos tree of Tsagkarada, the infamous Pelion train.
The 3rd day is dedicated to Greece's 2nd most visited site of interest. Meteora is a place one has to visit once in a lifetime. You will visit at least two monasteries and make pictures of all of them. Food can be quiet an experience in this part of Greece as well. If we extend our tour we can also visit Metsovo as well.
Delphi is also a site of interest one has to visit when in Greece. Visit the ancient Temple of Apollo, the stadium and of course the archaeological museum. The end of the day will find us driving to our next destination ...
If you want to extend your trip it is not a problem at all. First of all we can stay in Athens so that next day we help you visit Sounion and the temple of Apollo or visit Acropolis and then transfer you to the airport. Another option could be to spend more time to Meteora or Nafplion We are very flexible and we can discuss your needs with you.
